Hello! I am Ms. Li (Wenrong Li). I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a passionate mom of two boys and an artist/art teacher with over a decade of experience dedicated to nurturing creativity in children. As an experienced artist and a loving parent, I understand art's profound impact on a child's development and self-expression. That's why I'm excited to offer art classes specifically designed for kids. At my art studio, I create a welcoming and inspiring environment and curriculum where young minds can explore their artistic potential. With a blend of fun and educational activities, I aim to ignite their imaginations, confidence, and self-esteem and also foster a lifelong love and appreciation for art and life.
More about Me
Not only with two master's degrees in art education and philosophy of education but also my background in both art teaching and parenting, I bring a unique perspective to my classes. I believe in the power of art to nurture confidence, critical thinking, and emotional well-being in children. Through engaging projects and hands-on experiences, I aim to encourage their creativity, build their artistic skills, and unleash their unique artistic voices.

Our Story
Our story began with a passionate group of mommy artists who shared a common dream: to create a space where art could flourish and where people from all walks of life could unleash their inner creativity. With boundless enthusiasm and a splash of determination, we established Mama&Me Art Space as a vibrant hub for artistic expression for everybody like us and our kids.

Hola! My name is Marianela Portal AKA Ms. Nella.
I am the owner of Fun Town and Spanish for Ninos LLC @spanishforninos. I was born in Panama and moved to the States in 1989 before the invasion of Panama.
I’m a mother of 3 – Paul who is 28, Demmi is 26 and Desi just turned 21. I also proudly wear the title of “grandmother” to my adorable grandsons Río and Orian. My daughter Demmi has another baby on the way. We are anxiously awaiting her arrival in October.
In 1999 I graduated with an associate in early childhood education from Miami Dade Community College. I have worked with children since 1995 which is my passion.
In September 2011 I took the leap and opened @spanishforninos in my first tiny classroom which was located in Grandview. I started teaching Spanish to children only on Saturdays as I was also working as a private full time Nanny during the week. Unfortunately, in 2014 the building where my classroom was located sold and I had to close my location. BUT that didn’t stop me!
I felt the love of my students and their parents and continued teaching in familys homes.
In 2018 and decided to get a small business loan to open Fun Town. Now I enjoyed having my own businesses and doing what I love teach young kids my native language in Columbus, Ohio.
